Canadian Geese + Rocks

We took a day trip to Sherwood Island State Park in Westport this past Tuesday. We were surprised to see way too many Canadian Geese and the beach was soo rocky.. . We had a good time anyways and the weather was beautiful.

Swimmies & Hiking

We bought Isabelle a pair of swimmies a few weeks ago and they have been amazing!!

We went for 2 hikes last week.. both may have been a bit ambitious for Isabelle but she did fairly well. This first hike was 3-4 miles around a local pond and the walk starting out beautifully with other hikers, kayakers and people at the beach.. Little did we know that with half the hike left - a huge thunderstorm would roll in. Thankfully we were close enough to a local swim clubs lodge and took cover. It was quite the storm and we ended up calling my dad to come "rescue" us.

The old stairs were a bit intense but it was well worth the climb to the top.
